What the title says, is there or at least just as good?

Not that I know the answer or anything, but which game are you talking about?

Neverwinter Nights 1, why else did I post in this forum for Neverwinter Nights.

Might be asking about NWN2 as well, nowadays.

Anyhoo, not to my knowledge. NWN is much more module based than any other game I know, I'd guess mostly creators would spend time making new modules, rather than polishing an existing one everybody has played already.

The closest thing that comes to mind is CEP, but that doesn't improve any module that wouldn't already use it. There's a huge bunch of modules that do use it and have better graphics for it.

But basically modules use whatever graphics they were built with.

If it for NVN check the hak packs on this page http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Hakpaks.Detail&id=7126 the link is for better sky but there are a few different cep as mentioned above seems to be the mos comprehensive.
The biggest overhaul was found in the 1.69 patch. It provided several map types with better graphics. However, they are still quite dated.

There are creature packs, skies, objects and junk like that to add or replace models. You can find them on the ign NWN vault (see Eye's link above).

But there is nothing like Morrowind's overhaul patch.

A group was working on the OC of NWN1 as a module for NWN2, but it was halted after the prologue was completed. There are rumors of a cease and desist letter stopping production.
Actually there is, called NWShader. It adds pixel shader support to NWN1. I'm only using it to increase the fog range, as I like to keep the game closer to original look, but even without adding any shaders, I thought it improved things a bit. I did play around with the different shaders too (depth of field, etc), but was not really as impressive as the Morrowind ones using MGE. Even so, pretty neat stuff.

Note: I could not get the most recent version "Chronepsis 0.2.3.0" to work (the GUI app was messed up and would not save the selected shaders), so I recommend getting the older version "Bahamut 0.2.1.4" instead. Full documentation is in the RAR file, but basically just extract to your NWN install folder, and run 'NWShader GUI.exe' to set it up.
NWShader is cool, but the answer to your question is no.

Ironically it would be fairly easy to create a master override file that would do just that. Most of the work has already been done. Most of the tilesets have been roofed. A number of head, placeable, and tileset haks offer higher resolution textures. There are thousands of alternate portraits. Many of the weaker creature models have been rebuilt. There are even improved/extra voice sets. There's improved AI, combat animations, music, sound and visual effects... The list is endless.

Unfortunately it will never be done. A few years ago the Custom Content community kinda collapsed into a bizarre black hole of childish narcissism. Every time somebody tried to release a compilation some ape would start flinging poop demanding their content be removed.

You see... the way the vault is structured having content in a compilation might cut into a CC's download count or cost them a rating or two. Nevermind that more people will actually USE and APPRECIATE it.

But I'm on the edge of a rant that's best left unspoken. The point is that the NWN CC culture is such that future compilations are exceedingly unlikely if not pragmatically impossible.

Do you have a list or something and maybe even a how to that would make for a fantastic thread to be stickied here;)

No idea, sorry, I've never used NWNCQ. (And NWShader does not need it). The comments on that page suggest they might not (always) work together, but it should have instructions.(?)

My guess would be you just extract it (NWNCQ) to your NWN override folder. And by that I mean I'm really just guessing, so I would not take my word for it. ;P
There is a NWN shader project, plus the CEP and Project Q. I can not seem to get them work myself, but people more savvy at these things than I swear by them.

And that's why I left the community myself about 3-4 years ago. I made a few mods, didn't care who hosted them myself. Got out of hand.
