I hate helmet graphics in pretty much every video game I've every played, and neverwinter nights 2 is no exception. Does anybody know how to make them hidden?

Note that I have already attempted to edit the save file with a gff editor, but nothing I do there seems to change anything at all. I even edited a promising looking variable called "neverdrawhelmet" but the helmet continued to be visible (and ugly).

Has anybody accomplished helmet graphic elimination?

I have a lesser dislike for cloaks, so if anybody knows how to make those graphics go away (short of taking the cloak off) I'd like to hear that too.

I could not actually manage to open the playerinfo.bic file. I may try again later, although it seems like that mod you linked might be able to do the job more easily.

Not the playerinfo.bin, the playerlist.ifo

The mod will let you change the look of helmets, but not make them invisable, like you can with cloaks.

I tried to change that as well, but I could not get it to stick. I was able to find a helm graphic in charlie's appearance changer that I can barely see, so rather than figure out why I cannot edit the playerinfo.ifo files properly I'll just be satisfied with the mod.

Charlie's Item Appearance Changer works on helms as well as cloaks. I change most helms to thin metal headbands.

Ah, sorry, I didn't read the whole thread to see that this was already mentioned.

I searched for a GFF editor, but I ended up with https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/other/tool/2datlkgff-editor-aka-tlkedit2 which requires a file that doesn't seem to exist on the Vault. Any idea where I can get a GFF editor?
