I recently bought NWN2 from GoG, and I'm not sure how to install it. My other games were pretty straight forward, but its saying it can't find the 5th file and wants me to specify where it is. I saw another thread with the same sort of problem, but I didn't find any help there.

Edit: It needs the BIN file in the same folder, and it can't find the BIN... but the BIN is in the folder.
Edit 2: I -may- have figured it out. I didn't realize all of the five BIN files had to be downloaded into one folder. Once I put all five files in, and the EXE, I got the thing to pop up allowing me to install it. I hope thats the end of the problems. :) I hope this helps someone else too.

One last question; hopefully someone could help me with this. Ive been looking around for where to enter my CD keys for the multi-player, or instructions on how to do so. Are there any special links or anything of that nature?

I thinkit works the same as the fist NWN. Just go into the main folder where you installed NWN2 and look for a file named nwncdkey.ini, open it with Notepad (or any other text editor) and enter your keys into that file (just overwrite whatever is already in there). You should be good to go after that. Of course, just in case, make a backup of the file before altering it.
Or use the "Multiplayer key changer" in the Start Menu :-)
I am having problems installing. I get this message

"The program can't start because d3dx9_30.dll is missing from your computer. Try installing the program to fix this problem."

I just reinstall and is having the same message.

Any advice? Thanks!

Download from here:

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=35

Save it somewhere easy to find (My Documents or Desktop for example). Right-click and Run as Administrator. Restart after complete if not prompted to. This should fix the problem.

I was actually looking for the .ini file, but I dont think there was one. However, I do have the Multiplayer key Changer now, which I just saw. XD Thank you very much guys!

Got the same problem - only that all my files ARE in ONE folder, and it still can't find part 5.

Edit: Solved the problem. Somehow I used the the setup exe of NWN 1 to install the bin files of NWN 2. Ooops, that wouldn't work. Stupid me.

I had a similar problem: downloaded all the files, put them into one folder, but the launcher kept saying files were missing.

Easy Fix: Part 2 and Part 3 had a ".part" after the ".bin" at the end of the file name. I renamed them (clicked ok to the pop up warning that they might become unusable) and after removing the ".part" so they both ended in ".bin" it's aaaall good. :D

Hope this helps someone else.

Beware: this generally denotes uncompleted downloads.
