I reinstalled the game.
I checked the premium modules - they worked.
I downloaded and tested two different CD keys I received in mail. Neither worked, nor did the premium modules.
I downloaded the premium modules reinstaller - the premium modules worked, but the multiplayer still didn't.

Please, someone - any idea?

I think they wrote on their support page that if you wanted to play the premium modules you should NOT put another CD-key in but instead use the generic CD-key that the game came with.

After that I don't know what happend. Perhaps when re-installing the premium modules they reverted the CD-key back to the generic one...which does not work with multiplayer!

An easy way to check would be to check the nwncdkey.ini file....that hold all the cd-keys...

The re-installer configured the modules to work with the new CD-keys.

I need a better discription of what is happening when you are tring to play multiplayer.

when you say "..multiplayer still didn't". It just does not give us enough to go on.

As far as I know the Bioware Master Server is still down. This is not a GoG problem, but a problem that Bioware has due to being haked. If your sole reason for saying that multiplayer does not work is that you can not create a new account or that you are getting a message that saya something like "Master Server Authentication Failure" or "could not connect to master server". Well that kind of stuff is happening to everybody. and will continue untill bioware gets the master server back up. That is if the ever get the master server back up.

For the time being ingnore all the messages. if you do not have an account, just skip the process of creating a new account and log in with the account name you plan on creating when the master server comes back up.


If you play on some of the on-line servers. You may want to get ahold of the admins for the server and let them know you are playing with an account that was never created. That way if you have problems regestering you account name once the master server does come back up. There will be less questions from them about moving you characters to the new account you are able to create.
