I'm having trouble because the keys that are used for quick access during game play (f1, f2, etc.) can only be used on my computer if I simultaneously hold down a special key on my keyboard (otherwise they are used to execute commands like turn on/off the volume, adjust the brightness of the screen, etc.). This obviously makes playing rather difficult. Does anyone know of a way that I can change this setting, either in the game itself or in Windows 7?

Thanks for your help!
As far as I recall, there is no keymapping function in the game itself, so that's not a route that's going to solve your issue. I'm not sure if there's anything you can do through Win7 controls.
I used this for another game, don't remember which title it was. Had to make a Pause button that my laptop keyboard didn't have.

Edit: if that doesn't do the trick, search for 'Windows key mapper'

Thanks for the suggestions. Actually, I found a solution that's simpler than messing with the key mapping: I disabled the Action Keys setting in the BIOS so the Fn keys work like normal, and the other controls have to be accessed by holding down the Fn key.

And that is what I was gonna say.
