Hi; I'm playing the latest version of the Complete edition, which I believe is the 1.23.

When I arrive to Ember with Bishop, I fight a bunch of enemies, and at the end a cut scene is suppose to trigger but didn't. Now I'm stuck in the place because I can't access the World Map, or trigger the cut scene, or anything really.

I try the 1.69 patch called "nwnenglish1.69hotuupdate.exe" , but it complains that I don't have the game installed.

I try fiddling with the console commands, and I can see the areas where the cutscenes are suppose to trigger but to no results.

Sadly, I don't have a recent savefile prior to the encounter. I do have a a couple of them precisely to avoid corruption saves; but alas I was leveling up characters and sorting the inventory and override them after the encounter.

I found some solutions for similar problems that require editting the savegame, but these are for other areas in the game and couldn't edit anything into my saves that worked.

At that is, the only solution I have now is going waaay back to the previous autosave and continue from there. And I would like to avoid it if possible.

The 1.69 patch is for NWN 1. NWN 2 the patch goes up to 1.23. You might try going to neverwintervault.org. That is where a lot of community builder/players hang out. Their Forums are pretty active and I'm sure someone could point you in the right direction. Just make you let them know you have the GOG version.
