So, I'm about to head to the Golem's Island in HotU, and at the end is a demilich that supposedly can only be harmed by spells. I'm playing a Paladin and he already has a +10 weapon. Is there any way for a non-arcane caster to defeat this thing? I'm using Deekin and Valen as henchmen. Thanks for the help!

I did some browsing around online, and it looks like the demilich can't be harmed by spells (or most spells, or something). Your +10 weapon should be enough to break through its 20/+10 DR. I saw one person comment that Valen is a good henchman to have along, and some other comments that Deekin is probably going to be relegated to support/healing.

I haven't played through HotU myself yet, but based on what I've seen after some google searching, you should be able to handle it.

Sorry I'm so late in responding to your wonderful post. With Valen and Deekin, I didn't find the demilich hard. I completed Hordes of the Underdark on Monday and I must say I loved it. Thank you so much for your help.
