Hi there. My wife has been waiting on a CD Key for days now. She's put in two separate tickets in order to try and get a response, and absolutely nothing at all. It shouldn't take days for a simple CD-Key. Come on, GoG. :(

That's part of your problem; submitting a second ticket resets your place in the queue. Don't submit another ticket, just wait for the current one to resolve.

I got my CD-key within 24 hours when I made my request, but as with anything that requires manual human intervention that's subject to variation. I'm really surprised that GOG hasn't changed the process to be automatic, because it really is a hassle.
The thing is, even with a 'new ticket place in queue' thing, it's still at the very least more than 48 hours. Considering that they said they'd want to make the process automatic back in like what, 2010? This is a bit ridiculous.

FUD. The earlier information was apparently incorrect.

Now it's Friday. I wouldn't expect to see anything earlier than Monday. Then again they do have a skeleton crew on weekends, CD-Key tickets are easy to service and you might get lucky. GOG did make NWN2 keys automatic. There was some unofficial noise that they were going to make all games that required keys automated with all the updating for Galaxy though not directly related to it.

Thanks. I guess I might nudge on that thread and ask what the hold-up is, then!
I get that it's friday, but considering that the CD-Key request was put in earlier on in the week, it's still a bit daft that we might have to wait until next week in order to get it. You don't really get NWN to play the single player campaign, and it's ridiculous that we've got to wait on individuals rather than the CD-Key being an automated process like it is with NWN 2. :/
