Darvin: Kingmaker isn't bad. It leaves a few loose ends, but the main storyline is resolved. Shadowguard and Witcher, though, basically spend their entire first chapter raising the stakes and sense of mystery respectively, then the show stops and that's the end.
Witcher is probably the worst. There's a big reveal and then it just ends. I kept reloading my save and picking different dialogue options thinking I had done something wrong.

UndeadNecro: Another question is... was the expansions supposed to be played at a certain level? I was... level 16 when I did the SOU and I ended it as a level 18, and it was incredibly easy.
Yeah, I did the same the first time and failed with HotU as well.
SoU I continued with the character from OC, wondered a bit why I'm studying stuff with newbies, but thought no further. Maybe around halfway through when I finally realised I should have taken a 1st level character...

... which is then what I did with HotU and was again hella surprised getting about 15 levels worth of XP just for accepting to undertake the task at hand. :/
Alright... Guess I'll go and get some modules. It's a great game. I've noticed a lot of time has to be put in it, because it's not a short game for a casual player.
