It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

We've already tried blocking the old IPs and sites that do the CD-Key checks to try and connect to eachother via Hamachi LAN. No dice.
CD-Key in Use / Unauthorized (if finding a different one) errors.
If anyone of you have an updated guide on setting up a server without the check it'd be most appreciated.

My biggest critiscism is that this issue should be avoided completely by a very easy and light effort on GoG's part. Sending out an automated CD-Key from a list is nothing difficult, at all.
I don't think it is anything strange about the fact that we naturally expected it to work that way.

Had this been purchased over any digital distribution site we'd be playing right now. One of the key factors of purchasing a game this way is the efficiency and speed- both unfortunately sorely missing from GoG NWN.
is it just me, or are the trolls running out of things to troll on? In case no one has noticed, there are ~10-15 threads here already on this same exact topic(almost the same words too).

anyone who wants to write gog this "simple" script can do so, just remember to include all of the security it will require, account authentication, etc. I'm sure gog will enjoy the results.

please find something else to troll on, its sad really, back in my day trolls would actually put a little effort into their works, now its just become a shitfest of 12-year old's.

Find your own topic to troll on, the adults have already argued this over and over, and never have those that have taken your side been even close to right.

Did you See support as you were directed - I am guessing not as you would have seen this:

To play Neverwinter Nights online, you will require a unique CD key. Please contact us through this support form and select "multiplayer key request" in the "I have a problem with:" drop-down menu. We will send you the CD key along with additional instructions.

Changing the CD key will result in the premium modules (like Kingmaker) not working anymore, because they will use the default key for validation. To get around this, go to your My Account page and find the "premium modules re-installer", under the game's additional content. Download this file and install it. The modules will now be adapted to the new CD keys.

And then you could have made your decision to purchase it or not. They (GOG) did everything in their power to tell you what to do - you just failed to do it.

If you actually were this frustrated and worked this hard to get it to work I am sure a quick google search on NWN CD Key would have had you up and running in a minute.

This whole issue could have been avoided if you would have followed the instructions and requested the CD Key as directed.
