Are there socks in the game? Just curious, because so far every time I get some sort of shoes I get the "improper/uncomfortable footwear" notification, and who the hell wants blisters or worse?

Nope, no socks, you just need to find proper shoes and the right one for each foot :)

Ok. Any idea how to know what's "proper"? I've had boots, I've had running shoes, and they were on the correct feet but "improper." I can say with confidence that I have absolutely no idea what "proper" footwear is in the context of this game.
That's weird. It seems like the only time I get that message is when I'm wearing the homemade rags for shoes or whatever. When wearing boots, running shoes, etc. on the right feet everything is fine.

For some reason, when I find footwear and select "use," it puts them on the wrong feet! I have to manually put them on to get them on the correct feet. I didn't notice at first, and as a result ended up with all sorts of issues.

what is the type of shoes campaign they are holding. Most of the time I order my shoes from https://bestrunningaccessories.com/injury/best-running-shoes-for-high-arches/
