Hey is it just me or there should be a horizontal FOV option to get some decent horizontal FOV?
Why is nobody talking about this issue?

Probably because it is a non-issue. The game sets your viewing angle based on the vertical angle instead of horizontal angle, which is not uncommon these days.

There's a few vertical/horizontal guides and converters around online so you can figure out what the vertical/horizontal equivalent is for your monitor resolution. I suggest the PCGamingWiki one, which has a much more indepth explanation on this topic.
