Font rendering in Ubuntu is garbled, has lots of artifacts.

On Steam, the user MegWATTT has posted a workaround, the issue can be solved using by opening a terminal and execute 'export LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1' before launching the game.
In my case it solved the problem.

Can confirm this also happens with Radeon GPU (RX 580).
