Kudos all around to the developers ... after decades of social manipulation its refreshing to get a game that sticks its finger the up the nose of those who constantly blather on about what they think is good or bad.
I am old enough to remember SPI shelving a game about managing Roman Gladiators because somebody didn't like the idea.

Thank you for reaching out to us and for the kind words. It means a lot to us.
the best thing about it, you could play for twenty minutes or two hours depending on how much time you have.

its like silent hunter meets dungeons & dragons.

the shanties are kick ass.

Exactly...
Last weekend my Mother-in-law shows up for a "visit". (Full scale invasion) A charter member of every protest or save the (whatever) of the 60's, she breezes into the computer room/home office and finds her darling granddaughter playing Nantucket... with sounds of the dying whales going full blast... and if that wasn't enough .my 7 year old informs her that I suggested we name her ship after a famous JPANESE WHALER...the Rainbow Warrior... length of Mother's stay...less that 15 minutes...priceless...I love this gave.
