Uru Freezes and then crashing showing the message "Main Branch- built 5/24/2004 at 5:19 pm has stopped working" there's many places in the game where this happens, it also happens when i am AFK in any age that has this problem. i have tried what the support forums said to do but nothing so far has worked. Does any one have a possible solution.

I had an issue with crashing in the world where the buckets hang on the cables and you have to jump into them. It was when trying to go down the ladder in the small hut. So, go to the folder on your computer where the .exe is installed. (Sorry for not being more specific but I don't have this game currently installed.) When you locate the .exe for the game, right click it, then Properties at the bottom of the context menu and choose the Compatibility tab. Then check "Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows XP SP 3." I know it solved my issue, and it may help you.

Unfortunately for me i have already tried this. thanks for the suggestion anyways. Since I posted this thread I have found out that my UAC was on and for some unknown reason if i want to change the settings of my UAC i need to i need to go the the administrator user, turn them off, and restart my computer or it won't take effect (there is no prompt telling me to do this, but it's the only way I've found that makes the UAC change settings eventhough it says that the setting have been changed) when i turn the UAC off URU doesn't crash, but instead runs increadable slow at points were it used to crash making the game unplayable. I have come to the conclusion the the problem is with my PC since the UAC isn't working properly.

Try contacting Support about the matter (send them a message). :)
