"Problem/Question" I am having a problem getting back to Myst Island from the stoneship age. After I click on the left button at the umbrella and return to the boat, I go down the passage but I can't see anything except some dim light appearing high up on the windows, and the gurgling sound of water. Recharging the battery doesn't help. I can't find nor see anything. What am I doing wrong??

Remember the journal on Stoneship Age at the library? Remember that there was a drawing of a device that would produce light? One of the main goals of this age is figuring out how to make it work (try exploring the rest of the age especially the passages opposite to the boat),
If you've found the red or blue pages on the Stoneship Age, the solution is very simple, yet nicely concealed.

SPOILER ALERT!!

Hint 1;
When you walk down the passageway to the blue or red room, one click at the time, look at the walls along the way, really low, almost on the stairs.
If your gamma/brightness is set too low, you will miss the red mark.

Hint 2;
There is a hidden passage on the third frame when you walk down. Depending on which passage you walked down into, it's either left or right, maked by a red square or ring.
Inside you will find a very interesting panel, resembling a compassrose.

Hint 3;
This panel is the key to light up the ship's hull.
You can try out every one of the buttons on it, as the only thing most of them do is giving a loud alarm and resetting the battery, turning off the lights and make you charge the battery once again.
However, one of the buttons will give a very different reaction than all of the others.

If you need a quick solution, post again, and I will give you the straight answer.
