Sadly out of all myst games I bought, only The "Real Myst" works without crashing.

Riven
The version that is installed through the Galaxy client is apparently somewhat different than the back up copy.
Other people complains about compatibility issues and expressed opinion that it is due to the quick time player.
Installing the game through the backup copy at least starts it. But at times the game freezes.
The strange thing is that trying to sync the backup copy with the galaxy client doesn't get me anywhere. Galaxy can not even locate the game even if I point the directory.

After I enter the game I see a lot of missing textures in game. There are many white polygons. Tried different compatibility modes and fixes it seems incompatible with Windows7.

Disappointed about this one. The game is the last made of the franchise so far and even that it is not that old as the others it still has issues. On start I see the Main Menu, but after I press any of the buttons I recieve a black screen and list of errors.

Since I can not find a topics that give a specific instructions on how to make these games work I at least hope that they will be fixed in the future.

I've played Myst Online: URU Live with no problem. The only thing is, some Ages are impossible to explore alone and good luck figuring out how to add friends (or even when others tend to come online). Hope this helps.

I can't get Riven to work through Galaxy. Even after installing that QT Lite thing at the very end. I launch the game, my screen resolution shift to something very low for ~5 seconds, then the screen goes back to normal and the Riven executable is no longer running.

Tried three installs in a row + file verification.

Tried running loading saving Riven following all advice I could find. NFG is the best I can say.
All others work Myst Uri M5 etc.On win 10 pro .
Did registry clean , cleaned temp file loaded reloaded . Did the compatabilty thing . used alt file . Just keeps crahing.
Have to pull out an old Computer to get it up.
Love a challange . But would sooner play the game .

Installed Riven through Galaxy. Opening Riven by the galaxy-client or directly by starting the .exe does only open a Black window in different resolution for a few seconds, then it dissapears and nothing happens anymore.

Rebootet PC, tried run as administrator for GOG-Galaxy and Riven.exe as well, no success.

Now thats my first experience with GOG-Galaxy... :/

Myst 5 has been working find until the Age of Todelmer. Got first two drawings done. Problem is that it wont' let me me climb on tram to enter room to turn on the power to the the dome. I have sound, movement, etc, except my traditional point and click "hand" fades making it unable to do anything. I can do everything else except this. Anyone have a solution?

Playing in Windows 10.
