I was exploring on the second floor of Channel Wood and I fell through a hole and I can't figure out how to get the elevator back down..

You're not supposed to be able to fall in RealMyst:ME, the character should have gravity boots that keep them on the firmament. That is just a glitch. If you can swing it, get back up and manually help it down. If not, I hope you kept a save recently.
