There's absolutely no point in getting this game, which consists of static screens connected by quicktime movies, when you can download realMYST, which gets you the entire game in fully explorable 3d, with an extra age added to the endgame.
The only reason to get Myst: Masterpiece Edition is if you are a collector.
As a player, you're going to enjoy the 3d version better, and you'll enjoy the bonus age too.
