I have Myst, Riven and Exile on working cds, but would like to complete the set. I heard the Masterpiece editions have updates to them which may be interesting, but also have some bugs. I was wondering if I should purchase Revelation and End of Ages separately or buy one of the Masterpiece editions? And if I buy the Masterpiece edition, which one?

Any bugs with Masterpiece should be gone by now.

What I would do is hedge a bit since you've already played those, and wait for MYST.

Looks interesting but no release date. I guess I'll just have to wait. Thanks.

As for the matter of current releases: Do you want something purely prerendered and very classical, or would you rather some realtime 3D?
I'm not sure I know the difference. I loved the original Myst series graphics, but the old school (Forgotten Realms) look was interesting.

TL;DR: One of them is live, the other is a slideshow.
