I can't play Myst V for more than 15 minutes without feeling sick. My husband tried it and has the same problem. I've tried all three control modes. I don't remember this problem when the game first came out.

Is there something I can do - I'd love to play this again.

The computer is powerful but the monitor is old. Maybe that's the problem?

(Myst IV played fine.)

Undoubtedly it's your monitor. But try experimenting with vsync on/off first, just to see if either setting makes a difference. You are in luck, however: there's never been a better time to buy a decent monitor! Heck, very nice 4k 32" monitors are selling for ~$400 today through Amazon--with a dot pitch of .18! Needless to say, smaller 1080P monitors are dirt cheap.
I am having the same problems with nausea and have a brand new monitor. Haven't tried the vsync suggestion yet. Did that work, Marianne?
