I'm curious about this. The instructions in my game for obtaining the Myst linking book page say to turn all of the marker switches OFF, and then go to the dock and turn that one OFF. Needless to say, this doesn't even make sense, and I finally found out that really they all need to be turned ON and then the dock switch needs to be turned OFF.

I've seen a screenshot that shows the left half of the instruction page saying "on," but in my game it says turn all the switches "off," which of course is wrong and confusing. Was it always like this? If so, how did that never get fixed in subsequent revisions of the game?

I have Myst Masterpiece Edition.

Thanks!

i found the same thing while playing the masterpiece edition. no idea if the 'original' version had the same problem (simply can't remember).
if i remember correctly, it was fixed in realmyst. not sure, though :>

but yeah.. silly mistake that should definitely have been fixed.
