hullo GOG,
I just downloaded realMYST and am thrilled to finally play it. Before I started the game however, a box popped up asking me to choose preferred graphical settings. Is there anyway to get back to these settings?
Thanks.
n/m... just saw an earlier post RIGHT after I posted this one with the information I needed... :P

Hi,
Yes, go to the game start menu folder and look for the 'Setup' icon.

noodle791: thanks :)

No problem ;)
Also, do you know if there is a particular reason the game gets so laggy in front of the library? Is there a setting I have to change or set the compatibility mode? Everywhere else runs smoothly... I'm kinda OCD about perfect framerate... ;) Thanks again!
Hmmm, i'm not sure.
Using the setup, try to change the '3d Hardware' option to Direct 3D HAL instead of the default DIRECT 3D T&L HAL, assuming you didn't do that already.
You can also try bumping down textures quality a bit if you have them on 'High'.

nope, didn't work. D:
Tried changing the 3D Hardware, screensize, and texture quality... oh well. Maybe I'll just get the MP edition.. experience it in it's original form. ;P
I don't know what could be causing that. I don't have the game installed right now but i don't remember experiencing any lag.
If you're on Vista/Win 7 you could try to tick the 'Run as Admin' on the the game shortcut and maybe fiddle a bit with the other compatibility settings.
And the setup tool, if you're on Vista/Win 7 you should run that as admin aswell to make sure the changes you're making with the tool are actually being saved.
