I've just installed Myst Masterpiece Edition on my Windows XP SP3 machine. Every time I try to launch the game it crashes. I've tried every compatibility option. I even uninstalled Quicktime and installed the Quicktime included with the game. I always get the same problem.

What's really frustrating is that about a month ago Myst ME was working fine. I uninstalled it to clear some hard disk space but decided to re-install it this weekend. Any ideas?

I solved my own problem. I should have just done a little reading first.
