I don't know how this issue started, but a couple days ago I started up the game and all of the sound has been off. It sounds like everything has be bass boosted. I've already done an uninstall/reinstall and that's the limit of my technical know-how. If anyone has had this problem before I really apricate it if yall could tell me a quick fix or set me on the right path to fixing it,

edit: this is for warband

Have a look in the sound panel for the operating system (probably Windows in your case)!

Best sound with a 100% (so not more either) output from the games and sound device and operating system and then you tune it down at the place where you get the actual sound, be that the amplifier or headphones.

thank you so much for trying to help, but i'm not certain which setting i need to change. I've been messing around with different setting on both the pc speakers and headphones, but nothing is changing
I think you might need some help on-site or over a secure connection but someone you can trust 100%

You may have too many sound devices active.

Your motherboard and UEFI drivers may outdated/buggy.
