I am having trouble trying to instal a mod i downloaded to mount and blade. I have tried using 7zip, but it does not appear to work. Please help

Most of the mods for Warband come either as executable setups (which is obviously not the case) or archive files. In order to install an archived mod, you have to copy the extracted folder to "Modules" in your Warband folder.
So after you're finished, it should look like ...\Mount and Blade - Warband\Modules\[Mod name]\[Lots of subfolders and files]. Then just select the mod in the launcher (instead of Native) and start playing.

I tried this and it doesnt work. I have installed plenty of mods on Vanilla M&B in the past with no problems, so I know Im doing it right. For some reason when I extract mods to GOG version of Warband they simply do not show up in the launcher... Please help

Same here - even the Viking and Napoleon mods from GOG don't show up in Warband launcher. Anyone else have this problem?

**UPDATE: I got all mods to work ONLY IF i start it thru GOG Galaxy. Now, whichever mod/version i last played when starting via GOG, that is the only version that plays if i subsequently start by launching from my Applications folder... weird. But, at least they're working now!!
