I just bought the entire Mount & Blade series on GOG. I also got the free Mount & Blade 1 for my library too.
I've tried to download the installer today for the first Mount & Blade (from my GOG library) and all I get is a blank white screen with the words "403 - Forbidden" at the top.

Can anyone help me with this - is it a website failure and if so when will it be fixed...cheers.

It works fine for me, both with and without GOG downloader. Try it again or hard-refresh (CTRL+F5) the page.
You could also try to refresh your GoG account:

Try another browser, to see if your current one is causing troubles.
Just to let anyone know (particularly those from New Zealand like me)..I just got a reply from GOG telling me the issue.
In future you must use the GOG installer (not the browser to download). No gog game will install through the browser (any browser).

This problem apparrently happened because my internet provider switches IP addresses when downloading from GOG.
I'm guessing it's because the entire country (city by city) is switching over to Ultra fast fibre optic broadband.
(I know this is happening in my area right now because they have been laying fibre optic cables all over my neighbour hood for the past week)

I guess there is a switch over at some point when the fibre optic network meets an old school copper network somewhere on the planet.

To solve this..anyone in New Zealand will probably have to use the GOG downloader exclusively now.

Or bother them for a FTP link?
