The email link (Get for Free) takes me to the the games marketplace. I don't get any notification of email or anything, and going to any of the individual pages for M&B does not provide me with an option to get it for free. The sale isn't over yet, as far as I'm aware.

Sorry to say that, but AFAIK, M&B is not a freebie for ~2hrs already. You can buy it for $9.99.

According to this, it should still be open. It's only 11.44 EST right now.

But it is 4:49pm (or 16:49) GMT now. And, just like your screenshot said, the freebie ended at 1:59pm GMT.

That was painful, I tried to buy the Viking Conquest DLC but couldn't because I didn't have M&B on GOG but Steam. Then I noticed it's free, went to get it gladly, and lo and behold, it's gone. What a bummer. Paying for it obviously isn't a an option since I already have it and it was just free anyway, not going to pay 9.5€ $ extra some hours after the fact. Sometimes they just don't want my money.
