Hi, folks!

THANX in advance for your help and solutions, as I am really not getting it done.

I'd love to play MR1 (and 2) in FULL SCREEN mode on my Win7 / Radeon HD5650 / Sony Vaio VPCEC1S1E notebook...
I get to play these lovely games, but NOT in full screen mode, as shown in the attachment.
(The game is centered to middle with black boxes around it!)

My command line says "-3DFX -fullscreen -DoRealLock -OpaqueBlackLevel3 -TextureSquareOnly -Pal16 -CorrectRatioTextures -NoDither -TextureVideoMem268435456" for MR1.

For MR2: "-D3D -KeepAvailableVram800000000 -FullScreen -Height<1080> -Width<1920>"

Please help me!

Thanx and cheers,
LanksL

You should check your video card control panel (either the integrated Intel or the Radeon), it is possible that it is configurated under 'Scaling' (or a similar heading) to center the image without scaling the resolution.

For Intel HD graphics, you should choose 'Maintain Aspect Ratio' or 'Scale Full Screen' and if that alone doesn't work, check the box next to 'Override Application Settings' as well.

If the laptop uses only the Radeon, I cannot tell you exactly which would be the settings to change. Feel free to add a screen cap of the settings you find if you need help figuring them out.

Let me know how it goes.

Also, I don't know what that "-3DFX" in the MR1 command line is doing there. It should not be necessary (it was specifically for 3DFX cards back in the day).
