i Just bought the Mortal Kombat Trilogy & installed it. I've pressed F10 to configure the controls. The only problem is that there doesn't seem to be a button for Start. When it goes to the main screen & says press Start, I assumed that the Enter key would do it. It doesn't. I pressed every key & still can't seem to get the game to actually play. Let me know what needs to be done for the game to start. Thanks.

It's F1 for player 1.

On your computer, does pressing Ctrl+F1 open the DOSBox mapper tool?
https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us/articles/213040105-Setting-up-a-controller-in-DOSBox-games-even-if-the-game-doesn-t-support-a-joystick?_ga=2.148442804.2083956222.1618200254-102408457.1614828471&product=gog

If it does, you can change the key from F1 to something else.
Essentially, keeping the F1 key event (starting the game), but using a different key to do it.

You probably have an FN key in your keyboard, and it is set either from the BIOS or the OS as active by default (and in your particular computer FN+F1 is used to mute sound). Try pressing FN+F1 to have F1 act normally.
