Is there any way for me to use a PS4 controller and be Player 1? It isn't that big of a deal, but I prefer being on the left side at the start of the rounds so I'd prefer to be Player 1.

Run "joy.cpl" first and make sure to select the correct pad.

how exactly? no matter what I do I am always Player 2. I'm using a PS4 controller

Depending on the version of Windows: Start --> Run--> joy.cpl

Then pick your PS4 controller as the default.

My patch on this forum may take care of it. The DOS version is a bit less funky with modern controllers too.
