GOG are giving this game away for free between January 25th - 28th for 72 hours, yet after adding the game to your Library GOG Galaxy and GOG.com will not allow you to download it. On Galaxy it continuously fails to connect to the server and if you go through GOG.com you're met with an error message stating that you don't have the licence to download the game. I know it's free, but shouldn't things like this be ironed out BEFORE the giveaway?

Same issue here. Either 1 or 2% then fails. I'm not going to complain (too much) about a free game, but if this is a connection issue I imagine it would be the same result if I'd paid for it.

worked fine for me. I downloaded the install files (3).

Installs now. Guess it was just a connection issue on GoG's side at the time. *shrug* Other games worked just fine, but this one specifically refused to download.
