I try to join an online game but every time it says " Could not join match".
So either no one plays this game online or it's just me. Please help as I would enjoy this game a lot more with more than 1 player. :)

I have the same problem. When I host a game, it gives me a Lobby Code, but when my friends put that code in it just says the same thing.

Kinda disappointed that there is no answer on the original posters question in over a month. Considering I've also had problems with the single player not saving my progress, I'll likely be asking for a refund.

I've only tested the local coop so far, but I found this on the Moon Hunters' blog http://www.moonhuntersgame.com/blog/.

Hope this helps.

"How to play online (host opens port 7777)

Hopefully we can make this process easier in the future, but for now, here’s some instructions to help you:
In order to be able to host a game successfully, TCP Port 7777 must be open in the *host*. If the clients trying to connect to the host are stuck in the connecting screen forever, or get a timeout error, the *host* must configure a port forwarding for port 7777.

Instructions for port forwarding:
To configure port forwarding, you need to access your router’s interface through the web browser.

Run the program “cmd” (Win key + R, then type cmd in the textbox)
Once inside the terminal, type ipconfig
Write down the IP address of your default gateway. That should be your router’s IP.
Also write down your own IP (IPv4 Address)
Open the browser and type the IP.
Log into your router, and look for a tab or menu called “Applications & Gaming,” “Advanced,” “Port Forwarding/Port Triggering,” “NAT/QoS,” or something similar.
Set up a port forwarding for TCP port 7777. Don’t forget to save/activate the port forwarding.
Steps 6 and 7 can vary depending on your router’s brand/interface.

UPDATE

I was able to get online coop working last night.

You have to have the Clients input the Host's Lobby Code (4 digit code Host has displayed at the character selection screen) into the IP Field (defaults to 127.0.0.1 for added confusion).

I'm not sure if it used to use IP addresses, but then later changed to the 4 digit system and the developers didn't update the labels.

Hi who would be interested in playing via multiplayer? I figured most of you in this question would be interested. If so let's try to set something up.
