I was playing this on Steam, but now also own this on GOG. When I copied my saves to my new PC, the GOG version doesn't seem to recognize them and had me start a new game.

Anyone know how to get the GOG version to recognize the save files?

Have you tried manualy copying the save files to their GoG-folder?

Save location for Steam is %Appdata%\LocalLow\Shiny Shoe\MonsterTrain\

Save location for Gog is %Appdata%\LocalLow\Shiny Shoe\MonsterTrain\sync

Copy the files to the sync folder (make it if it doesn't exist) and GOG version should find the save files.

It's actually:

Steam: %USERPROFILE%\LocalLow\Shiny Shoe\MonsterTrain\

Gog: %USERPROFILE%\LocalLow\Shiny Shoe\MonsterTrain\sync
