When I fire my cannons on the ship, even if it fires directly into the cannon, I cannot sink the ship. Is there a resolution to this issue? I had to click a bunch of buttons and find that pressing tab will fire the cannon, but I can't get on the ship to combat with insults. I'm playing on a mac.

If you're playing normal ship to ship combat you have to keep attacking the ship until the battle ends, it takes a number of hits to win.

On easy ship combat you only have to hit them once.

If normal is giving you some trouble speak to Haggis and you can change to easy.
