The Steam version seem to have a fix but not GoG. Are those fixes provided by the game developer? If yes, please ask them so we can benefit from them.
I bought the game on the recent sale and can confirm that the game does not start on M1 Mac ( Monterey ).
Same here, the screen goes dark but then the rainbow cursor appears and never goes away. Have to Force-Quit the app.
I just checked the .app file from the GOG version : it's a 32bit Intel app

So Monterey won't launch it (they stopped supporting 32app a few version ago)

If there is a working version on steam, it probably has been compiled for 64bit (Intel)

PS : the game is no longer listed as compatible with Mac OS on the store (even if the launcher still list it as a Mac game)

Hi all,

I recently purchased MOLEK-SYNTEZ with the intention of playing on my M1 Macbook Air, but I'm running into the same issues that are described above in this thread.

Is there a way that we can request GOG to provide a 64-bit version of the game?

Cheers,
David
