This game is pretty sweet, but I'm having audio issues with it. I can hear everything going on, but it has a garbled quality. I tried to update the game, but the update requires you to have the CD. Anyone else having problems with the audio?

Same problem here, Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit laptop, RealTek audio device, changing the audio format/exclusivity/enhancements in 'Properties' window on/off didn't help.

FIXED by turning full-range speakers off in the 'Configure' screen (control panel->sound->left click audio device [the one with the green tick]->'configure' at bottom-left of windows->click 'next'->uncheck 'full-range speakers')
I've found another way to fix the sound problems in Mobile Forces. If one is encountering static or sound lag, go to the Mobile Forces' "System" folder and edit the MobileForces.ini file. Search for the [Galaxy.GalaxyAudioSubsystem] section and set the Latency to 100.
