Hey everyone !

So I bought Mirror's Edge and there is no sound at all, excepted the first cinematic with the EA and DICE logos. Anyone has a fix for this ? I'm playing on Manjaro Linux and it's the first time I encounter an issue like this.

I tried the game on Steam and the game works just fine with Proton 7.0.

I tried using different headsets, soundcards and speakers, but nothing worked.
I also tried modifying the game files, but every modification seems to corrupt the files, and I have to reinstall the game for it to launch again.

Thanks!

For me overriding the openal32 library worked. Here's how you do it:

1. Open wineconfig with the game's prefix (on Lutris you can do it by selecting the game, pressing the arrow next to the Wine icon and the bottom and selecting "Wine configuration")
2. Open the "Libraries" tab
3. Open the "New override for library" dropdown, select "openal32" and press "Add"
4. Make sure it's added to the "Existing overrides" as "openal32 (native, builtin)". If it's not, double-click it and select "Native then Builtin" and press OK
5. Press OK and restart the game
