I have windows 10 and it updates natively so the libraries are up to date, I have the latest video driver and sound drivers. I can play the game on my wife's computer but not my own. no clue what I am doing wrong.

Visual C++ runtime error

then the game terminates.

Does it generate a log file? Here is a guide that explains how to find it.

Ah! We've had this report from a couple of people now, I didn't know exactly what the issue is but looking at that screenshot I think it's missing the Visual Studio 2010 runtime. Can you please try downloading it here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-nz/download/details.aspx?id=5555

Otherwise you can grab a test build with Galaxy integration disabled here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8rbeuizb0sywgft/MiniMetro-nogalaxy-win32.zip?dl=0

Sorry for the hassle! We're working on getting a new GOG build out soon.

This is the Visual Studio 2010 runtime response I get in the attachment

And then I try The new test build and I get to play!

And now I'll test it out and re rate the game!

Now I am unable to edit the complaint I put on the game page saying I can't get it to work.
With the recent build, it now requires the Visual Studio C++ 2012 runtime—turns out that's what Galaxy itself installs, so we switched to compiling our libraries to 2012. We're still having reports that it's crashing on startup if you're not running Galaxy though, we're looking into that now.

Any progress? Both the previous version and the latest version from GOG crash on startup for me with the attached error.

Windows 7 Home Premium SP 1
64-bit system
8G RAM
AMD A8-3820

I am not using Galaxy.

Do you have the Visual C++ Redistrib installed? (you didn't say) You want this one if it's compiled against the same one Galaxy is using.

I tried installing that one but it wouldn't let me, as a more current version of that redistributable is already installed.
