I had been play M&M6 for several weeks fine, and then, all of a sudden, today, the walking sound disappeared. Everything else is running fine. I have the Walksound option on the control panel turned on. Does anyone know what the problem might be? (I am running this on Windows 10).

Have you played since the sound stopped?I know there has been times that the footsteps have stopped on me, but it always fixes itself the next time I play the game.

Yes, everytime I restart the game there is no sound. I've tried restarting my computer and even uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but the sound of walking never returns.

Ha. I have to admit that the next day the walking sound came back. It sounds like it's one of the things that goes out and returns for no apparent reason. I'm going to mark your post as the solution. It's close enough.
