I have might and magic 6-9. I have tried editors and trainers for 6-8 but nothing works on the game. I have done as suggested to get them to work but nothing happens. The editors do work because I load up the file to edit and the last edit is there but it does not show on the game. Hex editing seems to be my only option but it is sometimes difficult to find where to edit it. I use cheats because I get impatient dieing a lot. When I play a game I want to beat it as soon as possible but not be boring. Some games have God mode which makes the game too easy then it ends up being boring. I like unlimited health best because despite being weak you don't have to worry about healing. I have yet to try using the editors and trainers for MM9, but I'm not holding my breath that they will work. If anyone knows a good place to find hex editing guide for these games let me know.

I'm...not quite sure what you're looking for here. Do you just want to make the game a lot easier so you can blow through it without any real problems? If so, there are a couple of glitches/exploits you can use to give you massive stat increases and/or overpowered equipment early on (these will take some effort and time on your part). Be aware that a lot of the point of these games is exploring and side quests.

If you just want to hack the game to give yourself massive, permanent bonuses, I don't know anything about that.

I was wanting hex editor codes for possibly the experience points. I don't know what else to modify in hex editor just to keep my players from dieing. I noticed that in mm8 that a person can keep killing (if they have the patience) the pirates repeatedly for exp and gold. The problem would be finding a training room that can level up the characters. I'm going through the abandoned temple now trying to see if I can find a training building in the next town to level my characters. I have yet to try mm9 so I don't know if there is a similar situation. My laptop is starting to have some issues with the graphics on mm8 but hopefully I can still play mm9. I got my laptop at first for the bookkeeping for a client I use to have but now it is my gaming laptop (even though I can only play mostly old games). By the way all the games here in Kenya is pirated so I wouldn't be surprised the issues I have is because the game is pirated.

I can't help you with a hex editor, I know nothing about that. And if you buy the game from GoG, then your copy isn't pirated. If you didn't buy the game (from somewhere legit), then, as you said, your problems might not be the fault of the developers.

When you buy things here in Kenya like games and movies then it is pirated. Don't really have much of a choice it is either go cheap or convert ksh to usd and be expensive. Then I guess the fault is with the seller. I miss U.S. where I don't get exploited just because I'm white and things are legit. Just tried to get quickbooks pro 2013 and it didn't work at all. If I could get work as a bookkeeper in U.S. then I can go back and support my family from there instead of doing nothing. Just living off prayer and my wife's paycheck.

Yes can buy online but it is in usd. It is not cheap converting to usd. If a person did convert then a person would need something like a credit card. Kenya is not yet into all this online stuff. If you try to get information about stuff about Kenya it maybe difficult because they just don't put legit stuff or nothing at all. I tried finding a supplier for a business and couldn't not find one online, but my hands are tied so I'm going back to bookkeeping. This time I've given up on freelance so will now look for work. Unless financially things pick up I won't buy online due to the exchange rate. I'll just have to put up with whatever I get. For now though I got to get a job because I'm going to be a dad of twins in 8 months.
