I've been trying to get the character editors to work for the Gog versions of MM6 and MM8 and the disc version of MM6, but nothing is working. I even click on apply and then okay when I'm done with the editing, but when I launch the game nothing has changed. Am I doing something wrong or is the editor that's not working?

Try this - it works fine with VI - Change the .png to .zip

Tried it, but the page won't load. I'm wondering if Norton is blocking the download files. I'm tempted to turn it off just to see if that work. It hasn't said anything about them before though.
I have managed to use this one with the Greyface patch installed. I can't confirm whether it works without the patch or not. Scroll down to "Trainers and Editors" and it is the first one. (In fact, by the file name, it appears to be the same one Lou posted.)

I'll try that one later. I have to head out this morning.
Still not working even with that patch. Any suggestions? It's not reading the files when I opened the character editor.

I also tried the first link for GoG, but the page wouldn't load.

MM6CHE is hands down the best M6 editor and works with the GOG and Greyfaced Patched Saves. When you open it there is a path that must be set. Use the Browse to find your save game location and it will read them all and you can choose which to edit.
