Hello and thank you for reading this. I have been through the light proving ground, talked to the advisors in Celeste, received quests that require entry into the pit and then I can't get in! What is going on? Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you!

Are you at the door? What happens?

exit and enter the cave, go train your party pass some time. if that doesn't work you can pull yourself into the pit with cheat engine / save editor and use town portal to get in afterwards.

could also check the map guide on some website to make sure you're at the right place on the offchance you're somehow not.

Hello and thanks for answering! Yes, I am at the door. I have tried both space bar and mouse pointer, but nothing. Thank you for answering! Does passing time trigger something in the game? Any amount of time you would recommend? And yes, I am in the Hall of the Pit in the Deyja Moors. I killed everything in the Hall of the Pit and no matter what, it won't let me in! So, I never thought I would be frustrated because I can't get into the Pit!

I don't know how to do any of the background computer fixes, so hopefully I won't have to!

well passing a lot of time will reset the map (that's a lot of time tho so probably don't wanna go for that), I'm assuming the game does a check on whether you've completed the right things to unlock the door when you enter either the pits front hall or deyja so re entering both the overworld map and the hall might just fix it by the game checking again whether to let you enter the pit or not.
