My party is level 87. I have just poked my head in Control Center, learned about blasters, and left to visit Igor in New Sorpigal to get expert status. By now I am swimming in skill points earned at Tomb of VARN, and every character has mastered everything that seems useful. Everyone still has about 175 points left to spend.

These areas remain:
Control Center
Dragonsands (Tomb of VARN is complete, but Dragonsands itself remains unconquered)
Hermit's Isle
Paradise Valley
Sweet Water

My party looks like this:

Champion:
25 - Body Building Master
10 - Sword Master
10 - Plate Master
8 - Bow Master
8 - Perception Master
7 - Merchant Master
7 - Repair Master
7 - Learning Master
4 - Blaster Expert

Archmage:
12 - Fire Master
12 - Air Master
12 - Water Master
12 - Earth Master
12 - Light Master
10 - Leather Master
8 - Dagger Master
8 - Bow Master
7 - Merchant Master
7 - Body Building Master
7 - Meditation Master
7 - Learning Master
4 - Dark Master
4 - Blaster Expert
4 - Perception Expert

High Priest:
12 - Spirit Master
12 - Mind Master
12 - Body Master
12 - Dark Master
10 - Chain Master
10 - Shield Master
8 - Mace Master
8 - Bow Master
7 - Identify Master
7 - Merchant Master
7 - Body Building Master
7 - Meditation Master
7 - Learning Master
6 - Light Master
4 - Blaster Expert
4 - Perception Expert

Warrior Mage:
12 - Fire Master
12 - Air Master
12 - Water Master
12 - Earth Master
10 - Leather Master
8 - Sword Master
8 - Bow Master
8 - Disarm Master
7 - Merchant Master
7 - Body Building Master
7 - Meditation Master
7 - Learning Master
4 - Blaster Expert
4 - Perception Expert

Also, once I get blasters for everyone, can I / should I sell my bows and my melee weapons?

One last question - is there any point to holding on to the following items?
Cloak of Baa (already finished Superior Temple of Baa)
Crystal Skulls (already finished Tomb of VARN)
Roland's Journal (this looks important but Wilbur Humphrey has nothing to say about it)
Dragon Tower Keys (already finished Warrior Mage quest)
Magic Lamps (no clue what these do but I found lots of them)
Master blasters + day of protection + day of the gods + hour of power = unstoppable. You will shoot your blasters so fast that everything will just be disintegrated.

All of those items are useless other than the lamps, which can be traded for valuable gems (in Paradise Valley).

Hell, at this point I don´t even bother with magic. Just put everything into blasters.

You can trade magic lamps down at abdul´s resort for gems. As for the rest of your items, they are no longer necessary.
Raise blaster skill for everyone. But since this skill only raises the chance to hit you can stop raising it when you reach a value high enough, you can't have more than 100 percent hit chance. You can pump up light magic for your archmage and dark magic for your high priest.

I'm pretty sure it adds damage in mm6.

I don´t recall the blaster skill adding damage in any 3DO game
I'd go for Master on Blasters, get Light and Dark Magic up to the same skill level(12) that you have for the elemental magics. You may want to get Repair Master for everybody due to special attacks breaking items.

Maybe it was just the upgrade from normal to expert and expert to master that adds damage. I forget.
Game finally finished!

I found that the fights go by much faster if you play in realtime and hold down the 'A' key. I never thought of doing this until everyone had blaster rifles.
Only noobs need blasters to finish MM6.

I only use them to kill the reactor (devil killing weapons FTW)
I didn't really get a need for Blasters till dealing with the Reactor, or Sorcs which can't pretty much use good weapons.

in my playthrough magics owned literally everything. namely Spark(with tons of Air spells trained).

My sorcerers who are dual wielding devil-slaying divine daggers seem to be doing OK.

Not as good as my Knight who's wielding a devil-slaying grand poleaxe, mind you.

's true, Daggers are the best option for damaging weapon for Sorcs.
Dual weapons have more advantage out of Fire Aura(Master rank) and weapons with mods, as well.
