I installed the Grayface patch and no I have no music. I still have the sound effects when you cast magic or swing your weapon but the music when you are in a dungeon or town is gone. Does anybody know how to get this back?

Hey thanks for the reply I appreciate it. I'm pretty sure you are on the right track to fix it. I am playing MM6 and not MM7. I don't see a file for mm6.ini.

I noticed in the patch notes there are values to can change to turn music on/off or make a custom soundtrack but I don't see where I would edit these files.

Thanks again! I did find the file that needs to be edited. I changed MP3=0 to MP3=1 and I still am not getting any music.

I was able in fix in but not in the way you suggested that worked for other people. I went to the directory where the game is located on my computer. I made a new file titled music. I copied all the music files from the sound folder and copied them in the music folder. This converted all the files to MP3 format and it's working. I saw this fix on a different website.
