Hello, I need some help with the time travel part in MM2.
I found Spaz Twit and his phaser, but not sure what to do to go back to the current time. Plus some of the fights are pretty tough, so I try to minimize encounters since I can't save. (No towns...)

Just rest and eventually you will get back to your own time.
Time travel is really stupid in most books, films and games, and MM2 is no exception. You can go see the pegasus once a year to get help, but even if three years have since du to the time traps in Castle Pinehusrt the game only tracks the days since you've seen the pegasus.
