I have been playing Might and Magic VI in a small screen (no problem, the game still worked). However, moving onto Might and Magic VII, the game will not open and says, "There aren't any D3D devices to init." What does this mean and how can I fix it? I am already trying to run the program as an administrator and have it at 16 bit color. My computer has Windows 10.

Thanks.

I think you could try one or a combination of these solutions:
- Installing the older DirectX version required by the game;
- Set the game to run in compatibility mode for "Windows XP";
- Installing GrayFace's patch.
I installed the older version of DirectX and tried the game in Windows XP compatibility mode. There is now a new error sign which says:
DDERR_UNSUPPORTED in file:
D:\mm7Src_eng\MM7\Code\Screan16.cpp at line number:
2331

What should I do about this new issue?

Thank you for your help.

I'm not sure, but reinstalling the game or applying the GrayFace's patch may help.
