It keeps reverting my chars names to their generics after tabbing into the next char. For example. I have Ajem, Olanni, Lenai and Merissa as the names I gave them. However after I make Merissa and enter the game the names of the first three are the ones the game gives them. I change them and soon as I tab to the next guy they change back. I tried to change them via the save file and the game stopped working at that point. How do I get them to keep the names I gave them?

Do you use "Enter" after typing char name? If you don't, then name won't be saved.

Yes, and the name changes, but soon as I tab to the next guy it reverts back.

Try to use 1, 2, 3, 4 for switching between characters, instead of tab. Tab might discard any changes.

I was only able to name one character. First I distributed stats and skills then I used Tab to go to the one I wished to name, changed it and hit enter.
I have encountered a bug though which may or may not be related to the naming process. After promoting one of my fighters to Crusader (the character I named) I went to my inventory and when right-clicking an item to see its description it starts to flicker making it very hard to see all the info.

Using 1/2/3/4 fixed this issue for me; using Tab seemed to be the culprit.
