Hey everyone, I installed MM7 and it shows up on my desktop no problem, however when I try to launch it, it just doesnt open at all. I tried turning off the UAC but its still not working, is it because I'm playing it on windows 7 when it was inteded to be played on 98 or XP? I would really apreciate the help. Thanks.

First of all make sure all older components of DirectX9 are properly installed as they aren't on Win7 by default.
Download and extract this to a separate folder:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109
Then run dxsetup.exe for installation.

Try running the game in Compatibility mode for Windows XP.
Right-click the game's shortcut and select Properties.
Go to the Compatibility tab, set the mode for Win XP and tick the box to run it as an administrator.

You can also try GrayFace' MM7 Patch:

An update of your graphic card's drivers is always worth a try. What GPU are you using?

It comes as an installer.

Btw, if nothing helps, you can also try deactivating hardware acceleration. Run the game's setup (there should be a link in MM7's start menu entry) and switch from hardware acceleration to "Software 3D".
Also switching your desktop from 32-bit to 16-bit mode before playing can help, but it's a bit annoying.
