Hi, I have some trouble with the first Cleric promotion quest.
I have to hire two NPCs and bring them to ruined temple in Free Haven. I have the NPCs in my party, but I can't reapir the temple (fairly close to their homes). I have no option to repair the temple, either through entering it, or talking to the two NPCs.
Any advices?

Do you have any other NPC in your party, besides carpenter/stone cutter?

No, I have only them.

And you are certain you have the right ones? (not Cobbler or Labourer, etc.) I know it's silly question but it's always better to ask;
Usually all you need to do is:
- have an active quest
- get Carpenter & Stone Cutter
- enter the ruined temple with both of them
they disappear from your party and you can return to Stone to receive promotion; there is a sound effect, if memory serves, but no other sign of completion - temple is ruined as ever and only later it receives its 'repaired' state;
Ral the Carpenter and George Almond the Stonecutter (Stonemason?). I have installed Czech translation, but according to this walkthrough, they are the right persons.

Yes they are.
Out of curiosity I just fired up MM6. Without even visiting Stone I just hired them both, entered & exited FH Temple - and viola: it's repaired. Active quest is not even needed.
Is is possible that translation somehow messed the game?
Another silly question: Did you re-enter the temple?

Probably. I'll try to reinstall it and play without translation.

Several times.

Just hack the stats and Fly spell for quick answer ;)

Sorry for the late reply.
I've reinstalled it now and with frsesh characters I was able to repair the temple, even without the quest, like you did. So it seems that it was really something with the translation. My old saved game however still doesn't let me complete it, probably because it is from that translated version.
Anyways, thanks for the advices, it seems you were right. Have a shiny 5 rep points.

Could you post a link to this translation? I'd like to have a look at it.

Nope, sorry. I have it on CD.

Installed MM6 Patch from Grayface (grayface.github.io/mm/, v.2.5.7). It didn't solve the problem totally. But promotion quest worked!

I visited ruined temple with carpenter and stone cutter.
They DIDN'T disappear as shown in the video walkthrough youtube.com/watch?v=MnmcNEphqUo.
But after the temple visit I returned with them to Lord Anthony Stone at Frozen Highlands. And he finished priest promotion quest :)

Then I visited temple at FreeHaven. And I was happy to see it restored)
